Growing the business is central to success under PPS
- Provide analysis of market service area
- Assist agency with strategic and business planning; ongoing
monitoring and updating
- Assist agency personnel with community awareness planning
- Assist with hiring and training home care coordinators and community
awareness coordinators
- Monitor proprietary documentation system for appropriateness of staff
activity for reimbursement
- Provide feasibility studies for new products and services
- Monitor reporting of referrals by facility, physician, etc., as
appropriate
- Coordinate development of specialized programs with agency and
community staff to meet needs of referral and patient community
- Assist agency with identifying, targeting and negotiating managed
care contracting opportunities
